D.C. UNITED vs. TORONTO FC
RFK STADIUM, Washington, D.C.
June 6, 2015 (WEEK 14, MLS Game #139)
7 pm ET (MLS Live)

A high-profile match in the Eastern Conference is ahead on Saturday evening when D.C. United play host to Toronto FC on Saturday evening at RFK Stadium. United moved to the top of the MLS overall table at midweek with their second consecutive home win, a 3-1 victory against the Chicago Fire. TFC hit the road after back-to-back victories at BMO Field, last a 3-1 win against the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.

  • Sebastian Giovinco added a pair of assists as Toronto FC won their second consecutive game at BMO Field, a 3-1 decision against the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday evening. Giovinco has five goals and six assists among TFC’s 17 goals this season; he has a goal and/or an assist in nine of their 11 games this year.
  • United won 3-0 in the final meeting between the teams last year, July 30 at RFK Stadium, their first home win vs. TFC since 2012. TFC gained a win and a draw on their two trips to RFK Stadium in 2013, the victory just the club’s second all-time vs. United (first since 2010).
  • United have won on five of their last seven trips to BMO Field, since 2010, after their 2-1 win in Toronto last July 5. That victory ended a two-game home winning streak for TFC in the series.
