The New England Revolution meet FC Dallas in a key inter-conference matchup for both clubs, when they face off Saturday evening at Gillette Stadium. The Revolution won for the first time in seven games in their last outing, a 2-0 victory against the Chicago Fire in Foxborough last weekend. FC Dallas hit the road after righting their ship with back-to-back wins at Toyota Stadium, coming off a 2-0 win against Seattle Sounders FC last weekend in Frisco.

  • Lee Nguyen scored a goal and added an assist as the Revolution put an end to a six-game winless streak with their first victory since April 1, a 2-0 win against the Chicago Fire at Gillette Stadium. Nguyen has a goal and three assists over the last three matches.
  • FC Dallas completed their return home with two wins in two games, defeating Seattle Sounders FC 2-0 on Saturday evening at Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas return to the road not having scored a goal in 331 minutes on their travels, outscored 8-0 in three losses on their road trip from April 23-May 7.
  • FC Dallas have won the last four meetings between the teams, including a 3-0 victory last July 5 at Toyota Stadium in the only encounter between the clubs.
  • The Revolution have not scored a goal against FC Dallas in 365 minutes, since a 2-0 victory Sept, 10, 2011 at Gillette Stadium. The last six matches in the series have all ended in a shutout (five by FC Dallas).
  • The Revolution have not won in Frisco since 2008; FCD has taken four consecutive home wins by shutout vs. New England, the Revolution now not having scored at Toyota Stadium in 384 minutes. FCD won 1-0 at Gillette Stadium in 2013, their first in Foxborough since 2003.
