It's a meeting of two clubs in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff chase when the New York Red Bulls play host to the Montreal Impact on Saturday evening at Red Bull Arena. The teams come into the match tied for third place in the conference, each sitting on 33 points, just four points off the division lead. The Red Bulls return home after extending their undefeated streak to five games last time out, in a 2-2 draw at the LA Galaxy. The Impact are undefeated in three games after their 1-0 win against the Houston Dynamo last weekend at Stade Saputo.

  • Sacha Kljestan recorded his league-leading 13th assist and Felipe Martins assisted on both goals – one the first MLS goal for Sean Davis – as the Red Bulls extended their undefeated run to six games with a second consecutive draw in a 2-2 result at the LA Galaxy on Sunday evening.
