COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – With a second-half scoring explosion, the Colorado Rapids lived to die another day, defeating the visiting OKC Energy 3-2 in a come from behind win in Tuesday night’s U.S. Open Cup fourth round matchup.

In the first half, the visitors took a surprising 2-0 lead on tallies from midfielders Daniel Gonzalez (38’) and Philip Rasmussen (45’+1’). Colorado climbed back however, with second-half goals from Dominique Badji (49’) and Eric Miller (66’) to level the score. Then, in the 89th minute Rapids right back Dennis Castillo scored the go-ahead goal, capping Colorado’s comeback.
