2020 MLS Regular Season Week 1
Montreal Impact vs. New England Revolution
Stade Olympique – Montreal

Thierry Henry will make his MLS managerial debut Saturday afternoon at Stade Olympique when the Montreal Impact host fellow Eastern Conference side New England Revolution in both teams' 2020 regular-season opener.

The Impact's season already began with a strong performance in their Concacaf Champions League opener, earning a 2-2 draw at Deportivo Saprissa ahead of the second leg in Montreal Wednesday night. Henry will have to balance the fixture congestion, especially early in the season, and dip into his squad's depth to navigate this stretch.

Bruce Arena begins his first full season in charge of the Revs after helping the club make an incredible run to the postseason a year ago. Back is the dynamic duo of Carles Gil, the 2019 MLS Newcomer of the Year, and Gustavo Bou, who raced out to score nine goals in 14 appearances since his midseason arrival. New England's big offseason signing was also in the attack, with the addition of 23-year-old Polish striker Adam Buksa.
